How qualifying works

The top 32 teams in each division by MIAA power rating qualify, no matter their record. Teams ranked 33 and below get a play-in if their record is .500 or better.

The MIAA rating is the average margin of victory, capped at plus or minus 3 goals in any one game, plus the average of the opponents' ratings. Seeding uses that rating. It is not a win-loss record.
